Holly Kuehn is the certified bookkeeper behind Perfectbooks, a bookkeeping practice in Aurora, Colorado. She has studied accounting since 1994, spent her career inside construction-based businesses, and now keeps the books for contractors, 1099 workers and small businesses, personally, wherever they’re starting from.

From inside the trades to Perfectbooks
I was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado, and I’ve studied accounting since 1994. Most of my career was spent inside construction-based businesses, in flooring, plumbing, painting and cabinets. That meant seeing up close how those businesses actually ran, and how the paperwork piled up when the work got busy.
That’s where I learned what most bookkeeping advice misses. Owners of small businesses aren’t behind on their books because they don’t care. They’re behind because they’re on a job site, or with a customer, or doing the actual work that pays the bills. The books get done at night, if at all, and the longer they wait, the harder they are to face.
Perfectbooks exists for exactly those people. I clean up the messiest books without judgment, keep them current month to month, and get them ready for tax season or the next loan application. Every client is handled personally, by me, with quick turnaround, honest pricing and straight answers in plain English.

You work with me, not a rotating team. The person who answers your question is the person who did the work.
Honest pricing
Published prices, quoted before any work starts. If Perfectbooks isn’t the right fit, I’ll tell you.
Plain English

I’ll get you cleaned up, caught up, and ready for taxes or that loan application. It starts with a free one-hour conversation.
Talk to HollyContractors, 1099 workers, small businesses and CPAs
Construction businesses and the trades are where I’m most at home, because that’s where my career happened. I also keep the books for freelancers and the self-employed, for owner-run small businesses that need current numbers every month, and for CPA firms that want to hand off bookkeeping for their clients.
I’m based in Aurora and work virtually, so clients across the Denver metro and anywhere else work with me the same way.
