Effective October 30, 2026
Perfectbooks LLC (“Perfectbooks”, “I”, “we”) is a bookkeeping practice in Aurora, Colorado, run by Holly Kuehn. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It covers perfectbooks.online only. Client books and financial records shared during an engagement are handled under the engagement agreement you sign, not this policy.
The short version. I collect what you type into the consultation form so I can reply to you, and basic, anonymous analytics so I can see how the site is used. I don’t sell your information, and I don’t use it for advertising.
Information you give me
When you request a free consultation, the form asks for:
If you call, text or email me, I also receive whatever you share that way, such as your phone number or email address.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records some technical details when you visit, such as your browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived (for example from Google), and your general location based on your IP address. Two services do this:
Both use cookies or similar technology to tell one visit from another. Neither is used to show you ads.
How I use your information
Who I share it with
I don’t sell or rent personal information. It is shared only with the companies that help run this website and my practice, and only so they can do that job:
I may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of Perfectbooks or others.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses them for analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) and for basic site functions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How long I keep it
Consultation requests are kept as long as needed to respond and follow up. If you become a client, records are kept for as long as the engagement and any tax or legal record-keeping rules require. Analytics data is kept according to Google’s and Microsoft’s retention settings.
How it’s protected
The site runs over a secure, encrypted connection, and access to messages and client information is limited to me and the services listed above. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so please don’t send bank account numbers, Social Security numbers or passwords through the consultation form. I’ll give you a secure way to share documents once we’re working together.
Your choices
You can ask me what personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, unless I’m required to keep it. Just call or send a request through the consultation form, and I’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is for businesses and adults. I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, such as government tax pages or software providers. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
